This thing is very energyful. I actually have 2 cats and it simply pulls the cat hair to it. I've had other dirt devils and none have worked as neatly on onerous wooden flooring as this one which is strange considering this is the least pricey of the entire dust satans I've owned. The most effective factor I don't love about this vacuum is you have to hook and unhook the hose and the hose is way too short even with the extender. If you need an inexpensive vacuum with very good choose up energy even on laborious wooden floorings, that is the one.

It did a just right job smoothing, but just vacuuming my one bed room apartment would go away me exhausted and sweaty! It likes one direction on the carpet, however not the opposite direction. Easy to scrub, but no longer with out getting dusty yourself. I've now purchased the Shark Navigator, fingers crossed, and can give this to my daughter when she gets her own place -- she's young enough to do the exercise needed ;-) I'm a young 51, but truly, vacuuming does not need to be this so much work. Also, do not like that I really have to attach the hose every time I need to use it.

The brushes are so energyful that the motion ahead is easy, whereas the movement backward (toward you) drags, slightly. This DD is mild and simply carried up/down stairs. It is just as robust because the wide selection of vacuums by Eureka, Hoover, etc that fall in the $125 range. But this DD may be very basic. It would work smartly as a major vacuum or a secondary one that's used best on one ground or in a summer home. In both case, a good vacuum at an excellent worth.
